Community CONVERSATION
Third Tuesday each month
5:30-6:30pm
These monthly sessions brings your local government out into the community where you can meet in casual venues to talk about general interest topics or specific one-on-one issues. City representatives at these programs want to hear from the residents and stakeholders. The desire is to build relationships and encourage opportunities for communication to improve the quality of life in our community. Join Chief of Police Dave Riviere and members of the Chowchilla Police Department during an informal discussion in casual venues to talk about community policing topics or specific interests you may have. The sessions are held each month alternating between two popular in-town coffee venues. Chowchilla's Easter EGG Scramble

Kids ages 4-12 years can scramble for candy-filled eggs and other treats at this annual spring Chowchilla's Easter EGG Scramble event.

The morning starts at 8:00am with the American Legion & VFW Pancake Breakfast that continues to 12:00noon. Featuring pancakes, eggs, sausage, juice and coffee, the breakfast costs $6 for those 10 years and older. For children 9 years and younger the breakfast costs $4
(prices subject to change prior to the event).

The FREE Bunny Trail for ages 3 and younger and for any age person with special needs opens at 9:30am. Scrambles for kids in the 4-5 and 6-7 years old age groups will be at 10:15am. Then at 10:45am kids in the 8-9 and 10-12 years old age groups will run their scrambles. All Easter EGG Scrambles will be held in the park softball fields.  Children should go to the area that matches their age, but younger children can join their older siblings if they want.

There will also be FREE bounce houses for the kids to play on. Local community organizations and clubs will have fun activities for everyone.

Treasure Hunters Market

If you like yard sales Treasure Hunters Market is for you! The marketplace appeals to both sellers and buyers. This is where you can sell some of your used goods and collected “treasures” plus repurposed and repainted furniture and accessories, handcrafted items, antiques and collectibles, jewelry and art works. If you are looking to add a Shabby Chic look to your home, or pick up a special, or unique gift item, this event could be perfect for you.

Individuals, clubs, service organizations, churches and community groups can rent a booth space. Please review the Booth Space Application for details and cost.
